Simphiwe was born in Pretoria and split his formative years between South Africa and Botswana. He studied Economics, Finance, and Investment Management at the University of Cape Town. Prior to joining Activant, Simphiwe worked on the buy side covering global Technology and Media businesses. He gained an appreciation for the capacity of fast-growing businesses to create value for society and shareholders.
