Born and raised in a small town in Michigan, Tyler learned early that the biggest stages are earned, not given. Following in his older brother’s footsteps, he laced up his skates and never looked back - spending a decade competing at the highest level of professional hockey in the NHL, where discipline, team dynamics, and performing under pressure weren’t just skills, but a way of life.

Now, Tyler brings that same competitive edge and relentless drive into his second career at Activant Capital, where he serves as Executive in Residence. Focused on capital formation and relationship development, he approaches the world of venture the same way he approached the ice - with a deep respect for the people beside him and an eye for what others might overlook.
